This firm derives its name from the town land of Abbygrey which housed the first Irish monastery of the Grey Friars that was established in the 12th century. The Grey Friars, also known as the Norbertines, were an order of monks known throughout Europe for their great piety and learning. At the center of the Abbygrey town lands stood a stone house of healing for the poor and the elderly.
The founder of Abbygrey West Consulting is a fellowship-trained board-certified geriatric physician with over 15 years of active geriatric practice. In addition to board-certification in Geriatrics he is also board-certified in Family Practice as well as in Hospice & Palliative Medicine.
Abbygrey West Consulting is a small consulting firm which limits it practice to the very highly specialized field of Geriatric Medicolegal consulting.
In addition, Abbygrey West Consulting provides educational seminars on a number of common Geriatric issues, for our clients and the general public.
